Sprint Review and Starting the Next One
Made the Sprint goal – a day late and only just, but worked hard and made it.
I have to start taking the work estimations seriously, because I’m not going to be able to increase my velocity at will. On the other hand the deadlines for conferences are set; I’m just going to have to find the time to work more on this for the next month at least.
The typical burn chart shape for me looks like a box shape – straight line followed with a straight drop. I have to keep this in mind — I’m not going to get a lot of tickets completed at the beginning of a sprint, but later on I’ll be able to check a lot more.
So, onto the next sprint. Next one will be a shorter one — the first deadline is May 31st and I’m ending my next sprint then. Sprint Goals are: 1) To produce and deliver second version of the process model article. 2) Produce first draft of the process control article. Text is to be used in the 3rd result chapter as well as the finished article.
